One-time NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown is heading to Miami to face an murder attempt charge related to a gunfire that took place in May, as his attorney submitting a not guilty plea on his behalf.

Jail records in Essex County, New Jersey, show that Brown was freed on Tuesday early for his relocation to the state of Florida. Brown, one of the most popular figures in the National Football League, had relinquished extradition to Florida from New Jersey, where he was detained after being arrested in Dubai.

Brown’s lawyer, Mark Eiglarsh, stated in an email that he has already lodged a written not guilty declaration to the attempted murder allegation. Brown could be in a Miami courtroom as soon as Wednesday morning for a bond session, Eiglarsh said.
